The file includes 4 Reading and 4 Writing Crosswords.

Reading crosswords

Students read the stories and recall items of clothing, then write the words into crosswords. After that, divide the students into pairs and ask them to tell each other about their favourite/usual clothes for different occasions, using the text as a basis.

Writing crosswords

Students first do the crosswords, and then come up with any sentences applying the vocabulary they are learning. To make the task more challenging, ask them to write a coherent story about their wardrobe or using a specific tense. In addition, they can make questions and then interview each other, answering on their own behalf or, to make it funnier and more interesting, on behalf of any famous character.
